If you missed it earlier this week, Meek Mill dissed Kendrick Lamar on Monday, September 9, 2013. In response to Kendrick’s “Control” verse about him, Meek Mill dropped “Ooh Kill Em.” Of course, K Dot wasn’t going to let this stand.
In BET today, they had a story about Lamar giving it back to MMG (Maybach Music Group) in NYC on 9/10. During a performance at Williamsburg Park in Brooklyn, Kendrick Lamar shot back by calling out Meek Mill.
According to AllHipHop, K Dot shouted, “I been doing this s–t for years, I mastered this s–t. I have no time for irrelevant n—–s [or] new n—-s.” He didn’t stop there, going on to call out Meek Mill personally, saying, “There’s one n—a in particular that needs to realize that there’s ‘levels’ to this s–t. I’m motherf–king King Kendrick.”
It all started because of K Dot’s Control lyrics where he declared himself King of New York – even though he represents Compton in California. Twitter was on fire after the show with fans and haters both reacting to his words on stage in Brooklyn.
“King of what? “Somebody please tell me,” Meek Mill asked in one tweet. When he didn’t get an answer 8 minutes later, he tweeted again – “Let me RT @MeekMill: King of what? @kendricklamar”
