Kendrick Lamar at Music Festival In Jimmy Fallon’s Hometown

Kendrick Lamar headlining with Modest Mouse? You bet! Over at XXL Magazine, they have an article about K-Dot being one of the main headliners at a music festival in Jimmy Fallon’s hometown. Good Kid M.A.A.D City dropped in 2012, but Kendrick is still riding that wave.

We’ve talked about TDE releasing a new album soon, but for now it’s still about performing live for Kendrick Lamar. He knows how to show people the truth of Hiii Power in action. If you haven’t seen one of his shows live, this is a good one to see at the Hudson Project Music and Art Festival at Winston Farm in Saugerties.

If you’ve not heard of the festival before, you’re not alone! However, if you take a look at all the different musicians and bands that are going to be performing, it’s easy to see that the Hudson Project Music and Art Festival is actually a pretty big deal. And it’s an honor for Kendrick Lamar to be headlining.

Here’s a look at the rest of the lineup for the show.

Also on the roster: STS9, Moby, Big Gigantic, Excision, Atmosphere, Matt & Kim, Flying Lotus, Capital Cities, Rebelution, Bonobo, The New Deal, Dr Dog, Infected Mushroom, Holy Ghost, GRiZ, Lettuce, Paper Diamond, Tipper, Savoy, Twin Shadow, Nightmares on Wax, Cults, Bro Safari, ZZ Ward, Conspirator, Araab Muzik, Gold Panda, Emancipator, Flatbush Zombies, Kill Paris, Robert Delong, The Soul Rebels, Keys N Krates, Kap Slap, Yacht, Jon Hopkins, Luminox, Oliver, Tokimonsta, Kygo, Odesza, Kastle, Project 46, Thomas Jack, The Floozies, The Range, Marco Benevento Trio, Chrom Sparks, Audrey Napoleon, Twiddle and Tauk

Of course we think that Kendrick Lamar is the best musician performing, but everyone’s entitled to their own opinion. Leave us a comment about the best live Kendrick Lamar show you’ve seen – or one you’re thinking about going to in the near future. When it comes to K-Dot, you really have to see him perform in person if you claim to be a fan. Listening to him on the radio or online is nice, but nothing compares to one of his live shows, you know?
